Starbucks Pick of the Week "Sound Hound"

Sorry it is a little late here guys but a lot has been going on. So without further ado, the app of the week at Starbucks is called SoundHound which is very much like the popular app Shazam. For those unfamiliar with either app, let me explain. Have you ever heard a song on the radio, at a friend's house, or in the mall and ever wondered what song that was? Perhaps you liked it and want to know what it is in order to purchase it. SoundHound gives you the ability to identify songs by having the app listen to the song.

Listening to the actual song is not the only way to find out the title or artist, you can hum the tune and SoundHound will match your hum to the song. The app also provides information on the artist such as concerts coming up, lyrics, a map to remember where you heard that song, and find similar artists. There is a a lot of integration in this app. It can be tied to Panadora, ITunes, and your music library. Check it out. I always love apps like these.
