Starbucks "Pick of the Week" - Artemis Fowl: Book One

Today's pick of the week is a book called "Artemis Fowl: Book One" by Eoin Colfer. I have never heard of this book so I looked it up. Artemis is a twelve year old boy that happens to be extremely smart and rich. The morals that the little boy are a bit twisted and one day he stumbles upon a fairy and captures it.

Interestingly enough the fairy he captured isn't at all like the fairies of childern's stories, the fairies have a dark side that Artemis will soon find out. Sounds like a pretty good read but I don't know how this is continue into a series of books unless they focus on another situation that the boy gets into in the following book.
